چکیده

An experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect lysine and methionine supplementation low protein diet on production performance serum biochemical parameters in Vanaraja laying hens. One hundred twenty (n=120), 30-weeks old hens were randomly distributed into four dietary treatments with three replicates each group having 10 birds replicate. Four diets formulated 2600 kcal/kg of metabolizable energy (ME) 13% crude (CP). The were: T1- contains 0.65% 0.28% methionine; T2- 0.70% 0.32% T3- 0.75% 0.36% T4- 0.80% 0.40% methionine. Body weight its changes, Hen Housed Egg Production (HHEP), egg (g), mass (g/day), feed conversion ratio found significantly (P<0.05) differed across during different phases experimental period. There significant overall body gain. Serum like albumin, globulin, creatinine, uric acid, triglycerides AST activity varied due EAAs CP diet. So it concluded that containing (T1) is adequate for optimum indices

Response of laying hens to diet inclusion of canola meal as influenced by dietary nonphytate phosphorus level and microbial phytase supplementation

An experiment employing a factorial arrangement of three levels (0, 8 and 16%) of canola meal (CM), two levels (0.15 and 0.25%) of nonphytate phosphorus (NPP), and two levels (0 and 450 unit/kg; as fed basis) of microbial phytase was conducted using 216 Hy-Line W36 laying hens from 39 to 47 weeks of age. The birds receiving CM consumed more (P < 0.05) feed than birds receiving corn-soybean meal...

Early postmolt performance of laying hens fed a low-protein corn molt diet supplemented with corn gluten meal, feather meal, methionine, and lysine.

Commercial White Leghorn hens (65, 63, or 70 wk of age in Experiments 1, 2, and 3, respectively) were induced molted by feed withdrawal until approximately 28% body weight was lost. All hens were then weighed, and seven replicate groups of 12 hens each were fed molt diets. In Experiment 1, three diets consisted of a corn basal diet (7.9% CP) or this diet supplemented with corn gluten meal (CGM)...

Effect of Different Levels of Dietary Crude Protein, Lysine and Methionine on Performance of White Leghorn Laying Hens

Objective: An experiment was conducted to study the effect of feeding of different levels of dietary crude protein (17.5, 16.5 and 15.5%) with varying levels of lysine (0.77, 0.73 and 0.68%) and methionine (0.36, 0.34 and 0.32%) on performance of white leghorn layers from 34-53 weeks of age. Methodology: Each diet was fed ad libitum to 12 replicates consisting of 88 birds in each replicate. Egg...

Productive performance and egg quality of brown egg-laying hens in the late phase of production as influenced by level and source of calcium in the diet.

A total of 1,152 Lohmann Brown laying hens were used to study the influence of level (3.5 and 4.0%) and source (coded FIN, COA, and OYS) of Ca in the diet on productive performance and egg quality from 58 to 73 wk of age. The FIN diet contained all the Ca carbonate as fine limestone (LIM). In the COA and OYS diets, 40% of the fine LIM was substituted with either coarse LIM or oyster shell. Each...

Effects of rosemary essential oils and zinc on performance, egg quality traits, and some serum biochemical metabolites of laying hens

This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of dietary supplement-ation of rosemary essential oils (REO) and zinc (as zinc sulfate) on performance, egg quality traits, and some serum biochemical metabolites of laying hens. A total of 144 44-weeks-old Lohmann LSL-Lite laying hens were randomly allocated into four treatments, each comprising six replicates of six birds. The first group was s...
